City Clerk
The City of Orient is seeking applications for the position of city clerk. Position is responsible for managing the city's budget and payroll, as well as day-to-day operations of city hall, including financial reporting and record keeping according to state code. Requires ability to keep various deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Other duties include answering phones, preparing paperwork, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the mayor and city council. Must be self-motivated, work well with the public, and possess strong communication, writing, and organization skills. Computer proficiency required. Associate's degree or equivalent office management experience preferred. Competitive benefits include health and dental insurance, as well as IPERS. Pay commensurate with qualifications.
